She continued working as a costumer on various commercials and features such as Flashback, Problem Child, K-9, Barfly, and Hellraiser IV. After six years, she decided to move in front of the camera. Since then, she has continued to study acting and has performed in various theater productions as well as film. 2 on U is Cussler's first writing and producing effort, in which she collaborated with her partner Micky Levy.
